I've never considered myself to be a 'Photographer', just someone who's been mucking around with cameras for the last 50 years or so.
But looking back at my work over the last 20 years, it turns out much of it has been lens based and demarcates distinct periods of my life as an instant 'go to' means of expression. Contrary to the criticisms often made of digital photography, the medium has allowed me to collect, contain and organise the work in a way that photographic negatives and prints never would. The consequence is a hoard of computer indexed images that will remain as pristine as the day they were shot a thousand years from now, but will never see the light of day unless I put 'em out there.
Hello world....
